WTX Developer

Experience Required:

5 6 years of hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX / ITX) and Enterprise Integration.

We are looking for a Junior IBM WTX Developer with solid experience in B2B integrations, EDI/Enterprise messaging, and data transformation solutions. The ideal candidate will have practical hands-on exposure to WTX/ITX development, supporting enterprise integration projects under the guidance of senior architects and leads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of WTX/ITX maps for enterprise integration solutions

• Work on data transformations involving XML, flat files, delimited formats, JSON, and copybooks

• Support EDI / X12 / HIPAA transactions and basic healthcare or financial integrations

• Develop and maintain integrations using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and Sterling File Gateway

• Assist in handling B2B file transfers using FTP, SFTP, and AS2 protocols

• Implement PGP/GPG encryption and decryption for secure file exchanges

• Support integration flows involving banking, healthcare, or logistics data

• Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and UAT support for WTX solutions

• Work closely with senior developers and architects to understand integration design patterns

• Support production issues and participate in root-cause analysis

Technical Skills Required:

• IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX / ITX)

• Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) fundamentals

• EDI / X12 / HIPAA (basic to intermediate exposure)

• IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway (working knowledge)

• XML, XSLT (basic), Flat Files, Delimited Files, Copybooks

• FTP, SFTP, AS2 protocols

• PGP/GPG encryption

• Basic exposure to IBM WMB or DataPower is a plus

• Databases: Oracle / SQL Server (basic queries)

• OS: Unix / Linux
