We are seeking to hire experienced Architect / Lead Engineer to support the migration of enterprise batch workloads from ActiveBatch to the Stonebranch platform. The role involves leading end-to-end migration activities, including assessment, planning, design, and implementation of Stonebranch-based solutions. The selected candidates will provide technical leadership, ensure platform scalability and reliability, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders. Extensive hands-on experience with ActiveBatch, Stonebranch Universal Automation Center, and large-scale automation initiatives is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and architect solutions for application modernization and enterprise automation using Stonebranch tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and implement strategies for migrating legacy systems Active Batch and workflows to the Stonebranch platform.
• Ensure seamless integration and scalability of the Stonebranch platform within the existing IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Analyze and optimize the performance of the Stonebranch platform, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of application modernization and enterprise automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end migration of batch jobs, workflows, calendars, and dependencies from ActiveBatch to Stonebranch.
• Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, timelines, and cutover strategies.
• Perform job discovery, assessment, and classification to determine migration complexity and sequencing.
• Define migration standards, naming conventions, and design patterns for Stonebranch implementation.
• Design and architect robust and scalable Stonebranch-based solutions for application modernization and enterprise automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• Optimize the performance and reliability of the Stonebranch platform, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of application modernization and enterprise automation.

Required Experience

• 14 plus years of IT Infrastructure experience
• 8 to 12 years of experience in designing and architecting enterprise-level automation solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with ActiveBatch and Stonebranch Universal Automation Center
• Expertise in enterprise batch processing, workload automation, and job scheduling
• Solid understanding of job dependencies, calendars, triggers, file watchers, and alerts
• Experience in large-scale migration or platform modernization initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
• Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Proven expertise in Stonebranch tools and technologies, including Universal Automation Center (UAC), Universal Controller, and Universal Agent.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash, as well as experience in scripting and task automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
