Role Summary: We are seeking a Sr QA Automation Engineer/ETL Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and data-driven applications. This role involves defining test strategies, leading automation initiatives, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality products in an agile environment. Responsibilities / Core Job Functions:
Define and execute test strategies based on business and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for web and data validation.
Lead automation efforts for regression and ongoing product development using modern frameworks.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
Validate data integrity through database, BI/DW, and ETL testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
Recommend improvements to QA processes and best practices. Requirements:
Testing Expertise: 8+ years in QA, including 2+ years in DW/ETL testing (Oracle, Snowflake); strong experience in functional testing of web applications (6+ years).
Data & Database Skills: Advanced SQL; experience with Elasticsearch and data analytics/reporting products.
Automation & Performance Tools: Familiarity with qTest; 2+ years hands-on with E2E frameworks (Playwright, Cypress) and performance testing tools (Neoload, JMeter) preferred.
Other Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication and collaboration skills. Tools & Technologies: Oracle, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Elasticsearch, qTest, Playwright/Cypress, Neoload, JMeter. Additional Desired Requirements:
Experience as an SDET, including developing automated tests, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and documenting and reporting test results.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks, and implement them effectively within short timelines. Additional Info:
