Job Description:

Role Objective

• Own client's cruise domain authority end-to-end-combining deep ecosystem knowledge, techno-functional expertise, and future-state vision to drive growth, CXO engagement, and industry differentiation.

Core Responsibilities

• Act as the single cruise domain SME across sales, consulting, and delivery
• Advise cruise CXOs on modernization, digital commerce, shipboard ops, and sustainability
• Define future-state cruise reference architectures (guest, ship, shore, data, AI)
• Shape GTM narratives, influence RFPs, and lead executive workshops
• Build POVs on Cruise 2030+ (smart ships, platformization, new revenue models)

• COTS partnership and scaling our platforms, network across cruise lines, ports, or cruise technology vendors

Must-Have Skills:

Cruise Industry Domain (Deep)

• 12 18+ years across cruise lines / cruise consulting / cruise technology

Strong understanding of:

• Reservations & revenue (CRS, pricing, yield, promotions)
• Shipboard hotel ops (PMS, dining, POS, casino, spa, loyalty)
• Turnaround day operations, crew workflows, fleet ops
• Ports, itineraries, private destinations, compliance

Techno-Functional Expertise

• Hands-on or advisory experience with cruise core systems:
• Guest & Commerce
• Cruise CRS / booking engines
• Dynamic pricing, packages, excursions, onboard upsell
• Shipboard Systems
• Shipboard PMS / guest profile
• POS (F&B, retail), casino, spa, loyalty
• Crew systems & inventory
• Data & Platform
• API-led integration
• Cloud platforms, data lakes, analytics
• AI use cases (personalization, forecasting, ops optimization)

Technical Skills (basics minimum coverage 40-50%)

• Enterprise architecture & system integration (SaaS + legacy)
• Cloud (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform) solution-level understanding
• Data & AI concepts (ML, GenAI, decision engines)
• Security, identity, payments (high-level cruise context)
• Vendor evaluation & modernization roadmaps

Consulting & Growth Skills

• CXO-level communication and workshop facilitation
• Pre-sales, deal shaping, and value articulation
• Ability to translate operations technology business outcomes
• Strong storytelling: decks, POVs, reference architectures

Good to Have

• Experience with CRS modernization or shipboard transformation
• Exposure to sustainability tech (shore power, fuel reporting, ESG data)
• Published POVs / speaking engagements in cruise or travel forums
