Full Stack Java Developer

Introduction

As a Full Stack Java Developer at International Solutions Group (ISG), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications using Java technologies. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Java 8+/J2EE, Spring, Spring-Boot, RESTful Services, and UI Framework.
• Create microservices using Spring-Boot and REST API.
• Utilize ORM Framework such as JPA/Hibernate for data persistence.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services like EC2, IAM, S3, and Lambda.
• Collaborate with UI Frameworks like Angular or ReactJS.
• Manage RDBMS/PostgreSQL databases for data storage.
• Use DevOps tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle, and GIT/BitBucket for CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure security, transaction management, monitoring, and performance optimization in applications.

Requirements

Required:

• 7+ years of experience in Java application design and development.
• 2+ years of experience in microservices architecture using Spring-Boot and REST API.
• Strong knowledge/experience in ORM Frameworks like JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based solutions in AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one UI Framework - Angular or ReactJS.
• Knowledge of RDBMS/PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with DevOps toolchain and best practices.
• Understanding of technical concepts related to security, transactions, monitoring, and performance.

Preferred:

• Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity.
• Familiarity with API Management (Apigee) and Service Mesh (Istio).
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana.
• Knowledge and experience in Queue-based implementations.
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Unix and Python.

Soft Skills

• Quick learner of new technologies and tools.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to project success.
• Participate in project discussions and deployment processes.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Preferably certified in AWS.
