Job Title: Estate Settlement Specialist
Overview:
Join a dynamic and innovative tech-driven estate settlement company as the Settlement Director, where you will play a pivotal role in guiding families through the complex estate settlement process with empathy, precision, and care. You will serve as the quarterback of end-to-end estate management, overseeing workflows, coordinating internal and external teams, and ensuring the timely and accurate settlement of estates. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead with purpose in a growing organization that values technology, innovation, and compassionate service, all within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Your expertise will help shape the future of estate management services, making a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2–3 years of estate settlement experience within law firms, trust departments, or financial institutions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple estates simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Compassionate and professional communication, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, project management tools, and quick adaptability to new systems
- Leadership mindset with the ability to guide teams and external partners
- Ability to manage complex legal and financial matters with problem-solving skills
- Tech-savvy, with a particular appreciation for AI and automation tools used in workflow optimization
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working with AI-powered tools and systems in estate management or related fields
- Background in legal, paralegal, or trust administration roles
- Knowledge of state and county legal requirements for estate settlements
- Bilingual abilities or multilingual communication skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of direct estate settlement or probate experience in a professional setting
- Proven track record of managing multiple cases and leading team initiatives
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in PST time zone hours
- Fast onboarding and quick start preferred to support ongoing growth
- Commitment to upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy in client interactions
- Comfort working in a tech-enabled environment and using AI tools to enhance workflow
