Senior React Engineer

Job  Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain React-based applications
• Build reusable UI components optimized for 10-foot UI experiences
• Implement navigation patterns using remote control / D-pad input
• Optimize application performance for low-memory and low-CPU devices
• Ensure smooth animations and transitions on constrained hardware
• Integrate applications with backend services (REST / GraphQL)
• Handle platform-specific requirements
• Participate in architecture, performance, and scalability discussions
• Write unit, integration, and platform-level tests
• Debug and resolve production issues across multiple platforms

Job  Description:

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong proficiency in React Hooks and component-based architecture
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive and adaptive layouts
• Experience developing for embedded platforms
• Strong understanding of 10-foot UI design principles
• Experience handling remote-control navigation and focus management
• Familiarity with TV browsers and limitations (memory, CPU, GPU)
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of frameworks (LightningJS, custom focus engines)
• Experience optimizing JavaScript bundles for low-end devices
• Experience with TypeScript
• Exposure to micro-frontend or modular UI architectures

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
