Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Governance Analyst with some remote work flexibility. The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance processes and frameworks. Key tasks include analyzing data policies, creating data standards, ensuring compliance, and enhancing data quality within the organization. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data-related issues, as well as supporting decision-making with accurate and reliable analytics.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related field

Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with a strong mix of education and hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

5-8 years of technical experience

Ability to configure and implement Data Governance standards

Strong understanding of foundational data policy to include NARA, NIST Data Management, DoD/DoW policy, etc.

Strong Analytical Skills and expertise in Data Modeling to address data quality, compliance, and governance initiatives

Proficiency in Data Analytics and a solid understanding of Statistics for data interpretation, writing and reporting

Excellent Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey data findings to stakeholders

Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and strategies

Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing priorities

Strong technical background to implement Governance Strategy
