Job Title: Data Analysts
Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC (No remote)
Seeking a highly skilled Business/Data Analyst to support our Cyber Metrics Development Program. This role requires strong analytical expertise and advanced SQL capabilities to collect, analyze, and interpret data. You will be responsible for data validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring that all metrics align with operational, technical, and business requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Gather, review, analyze, profile, validate, and map system data into the data warehouse to support cybersecurity reporting and analytics.
- Take ownership of issues through resolution, coordinating closely with business representatives, IT teams, and data warehouse administrators.
- Collaborate with source system analysts to understand system and log nuances and resolve data-related issues.
- Create, maintain, and enhance technical architecture documentation.
- Assist in testing and provide feedback on internal processes and dashboards.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Verify data sources against service agreements and work with engagement teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large datasets to extract, correlate, and analyze cybersecurity data.
- Perform advanced data correlation across IAM, Cloud, and Vulnerability Management sources.
- Lead UAT sign-off procedures with metric owners.
- Validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with software engineering, data engineering, and QA teams to resolve defects and improve data quality.
- Support post-deployment metric validation activities.
- Assist metric owners and other stakeholders with data or metric-related inquiries.
- Maintain documentation related to data sources and processes.
- Utilize tools like Postman or similar for API connectivity and validation.
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Business, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst in a large organization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Agile software tools, data visualization platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience querying and analyzing large datasets.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as ETL processes.
- Ability to work with APIs for connectivity testing, data retrieval, and analysis.
- Experience creating technical documentation such as design documents, mapping documents, and data definition documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Banking, Financial Services, and/or Cyber Security experience and knowledge.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with metadata management tools.
- Ability to analyze high-volume security data and communicate findings to non-technical audiences.
- Experience performing UAT, product testing, and data validation.
- Proficiency in working with APIs and tools like Postman.
