Product Owner
Job requirements
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of an enterprise Supply Chain Platform serving a global Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) network. The Product Owner will define business requirements, manage the product backlog, and work closely with engineering, data, and operations teams to deliver high-quality supply chain capabilities and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Roadmap
- Define and maintain the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for the QSR supply chain platform.
- Prioritize enhancements based on business value, customer impact, risk, and operational needs.
- Align strategy with restaurant operations, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams.
Business & Functional Leadership
- Lead understanding and documentation of QSR supply chain processes, including entire supplier-DC-Store ecosystem
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Data & Integration Ownership
- Own requirements for data ingestion from restaurant systems, master data platforms, inventory applications, ERP/WMS systems, and supplier networks.
- Partner with data engineering teams to support ETL pipelines, IOT integrations, event streams, and file-based workflows.
- Ensure correct mapping and transformation logic across raw, refined, curated, and analytical datasets.
Stakeholder & SME Management
- Collaborate with store operations, supply chain, procurement, analytics, and technology teams across regions.
- Engage distribution centers, suppliers, and downstream data consumers to align on requirements and system capabilities.
- Facilitate KT, UAT, sprint planning, and change management activities.
Platform Governance & Quality
- Define product KPIs, performance metrics, and monitoring requirements.
- Work with data quality teams to identify anomalies, improve data integrity, and resolve upstream/downstream issues.
- Support platform enhancements related to security, access control, resilience, and compliance.
Delivery & Execution
- Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to refine backlog, plan sprints, and prioritize releases.
- Validate end-to-end flows, business logic, and integrations across multiple systems.
- Support launch activities, hypercare, and continuous improvement cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within QSR, Retail, CPG, Logistics, or Supply Chain domains.
- Strong functional understanding of supply chain processes such as ordering, replenishment, inventory management, and supplier operations.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure), ETL pipelines, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to write detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and propose solutions
