A strong Zscaler L3/L4 job involves being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) & (ZPA), handling advanced escalations, designing/deploying complex solutions, optimizing security policies (SSL, DLP, CASB), integrating with existing infra (Azure AD, Firewalls), troubleshooting critical issues (PAC files, App Connectors, Authentication), and automating tasks (Python/PowerShell) for Zero Trust security transformation, with deep networking and cloud security knowledge.

Core Responsibilities (L3/L4 Zscaler Engineer)

• Advanced Support: Act as the top escalation point for complex ZIA/ZPA incidents, leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for outages, authentication failures, and performance issues.
• Architecture & Design: Lead the design, deployment, and integration of Zscaler for large enterprises, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles.
• Policy & Optimization: Configure and fine-tune ZIA (URL filtering, threat protection, SSL inspection) and ZPA (application access, ZPA Connectors) policies for security and performance.
• Integration: Manage integrations with Active Directory (SAML/SCIM), firewalls, SIEM (Splunk), and other security tools.
• Automation: Develop scripts (Python, PowerShell) for automating routine tasks, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and training to L1/L2 support teams and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
