Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for PlainID platform components and policy bundles
- Deploy, configure, and manage PlainID services (PDP, PAP, PIP, Decision APIs) across multiple environments
- Support policy lifecycle management including versioning, validation, promotion, and rollback
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of authorization services
- Integrate PlainID with IAM systems (Okta, Azure AD, LDAP) and application platforms
- Implement security best practices for secrets management, access control, and policy enforcement
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance; proactively identify and resolve issues
- Collaborate with security architects, application teams, and SREs to align authorization strategy
- Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications - Strong experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer supporting enterprise platforms
- Hands-on experience with PlainID Authorization Platform (policy deployment, PDP/PAP configuration, policy bundles)
- Strong understanding of policy-based access control (PBAC), ABAC, and RBAC models
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK)
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of security, compliance, and zero-trust principles
