Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Remote/WFH/Travel once a month to Boston and NYC, and the client is in Fort Mill, SC. (The client will reimburse the travel expenses)

Duration: 3 months+ contract

***Should be able to do architecture design and hands on work because this is a POC.

***Someone who has worked with clients and understanding requirements and making the delivery.

Amazon Doc DB preferred but Mongo or Azure is acceptable.

Description:

• Design and implement architecture for proof-of-concept (POC) projects, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Work hands-on with Amazon DocumentDB (preferred), MongoDB, or Azure-based solutions to build and optimize data systems.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects, including planning, execution, and quality assurance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members while managing stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Amazon DocumentDB; familiarity with MongoDB and Azure is acceptable.
• Ability to design and implement data architecture for complex projects, including POCs.
• Strong client-facing skills with experience in requirement gathering and delivering tailored solutions.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing projects and guiding teams effectively.
