Summary
This role involves 70% handson execution and 30% coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Work with a variety of Content Management environments, especially Sitecore which powers our public website ;br />Build reusable code and libraries for future use, focused on deployments in the Cloud.
Ensure that code is written to conform with web security standards and expectations.
Optimize applications for performance and scalability for a global user base.
Work closely with business users and other developers in cross-functional teams to implement requirements into a working solution.
Experience and Critical Skills
10+ years of work experience as a .NET Web Developer (or similar role) with strength in C# and ASP.NET Core.
Significant understanding and experience of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including React, Next.js and Redux.
Experience in developing applications that use Sitecore, Salesforce and/or SharePoint Online
Experience developing fully responsive, UX-focused HTML and CSS from design.
Databases (including NoSQL).
Experience analyzing security flaws and implementing appropriate solutions.
Prior experience with Apache SOLR search engine is useful.
Experience working within automated DevOps and cloud-centric environments.
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
Additional Skills:
Awareness and experience of security concerns in web/cloud application development.
Good understanding of REST standards and system integrations using REST (and JSON).
Good understanding of Microservice architecture and hosting options in cloud platforms (e.g. Azure).
Understanding of web technologies/standards and industry trends.
Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Any Web development certifications a plus.
