Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
 Job Description 
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Confluent Kafka experience to support and enhance enterprise-scale distributed systems. 
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kafka-based streaming platforms.
 Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application and platform deployments

• Manage and support Confluent Kafka clusters, including setup, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code tools

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments

• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using modern observability tools

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions

• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for Kafka and related systems

• Maintain documentation for environments, processes, and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments

• Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka (Kafka clusters, topics, producers/consumers, schema registry)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)

• Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation

• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk

• Experience supporting microservices and event-driven architectures

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
