Data Engineer - Real World Evidence Analytics

Position Summary

Candidates located in the Buffalo Grove, IL area highly preferred

CVS Health has a rich set of healthcare data of more than 150 million individuals and provides the best foundation for any ambitious data engineer to work on billions of records of healthcare data. The Data Engineer will design and develop highly scalable and extensible data platforms including but not limited to RDBMS / Big Data / Cloud, which enables industrializing collection, storage, modeling, and analysis of massive data sets from heterogeneous channels.

Required Qualifications

1+ years of experience programming using languages like R, Python and SQL
1+ years of experience in cloud technologies - Azure, Google Cloud Platform or AWS

Preferred Qualifications
Strong problem solving skills

Experience working with end users/business stakeholders

Experience working in agile/scrum teams

Track record of delivering results

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Math, or related field; or Advanced Degree.
Preferred: Master's Degree with coursework focused on advanced algorithms, mathematics in computing, data structures, or related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $173,040.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
