Job Title: Financials Consultant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financials Consultant with extensive experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, specializing in Chart of Accounts (COA), taxation, and localization for the US and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial consulting, with at least 2 full-cycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute end-to-end Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, focusing on COA design and configuration, taxation, and compliance with US and Canadian localization requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze financial requirements, ensuring the Oracle Cloud solution meets their business needs.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement within existing financial processes and recommend effective solutions.
- Provide training and support to client teams on Oracle Cloud Financials modules, including COA, taxation, and localization practices.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial best practices and regulatory compliance for both US and Canadian markets.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Assist in the development of test scenarios and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system configurations against business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for financial-related issues post-implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial consulting, with at least 2 full Oracle Cloud Financials implementations from start to finish.
- Profound knowledge of Chart of Accounts (COA) structure and design, taxation laws, and localization requirements for the US and Canada.
- Experience working with financial regulations and compliance in both US and Canadian markets is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel within the US and Canada as needed.
