Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and implementation of Web Interfaces and APIs.
  • Develop and test applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and propose improvements.
  • Perform all software life cycle activities from requirements, to design, to testing and deployment, to support and bug fixes.
  • Work in a small team environment where contributions are critical to program success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Familiarity with Telerik UI for ASP.NET.
  • Familiarity with software versioning and revision control, such as Subversion.
  • Familiarity with lifecycle management tools, such as Helix ALM.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Experience writing unit tests
  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
