Job Summary
The Client is seeking an experienced Senior Workday Solution Architect Financials to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Financials solutions. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in Workday Finance, strong ERP architecture experience, and proven leadership in large-scale public sector implementations.
The ideal candidate will act as a solution owner and technical leader, partnering with business stakeholders, implementation vendors, and internal teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performing financial systems.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of ERP implementation experience.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials.

• 5+ years of experience architecting Workday Financials solutions.

• Active Workday Financials certifications, valid through 2025 R1, including:

• Core Financials

• Banking & Settlements

• Revenue Management

• Grants Management

• Accounting Center

• Contracts-to-Cash

• Strong experience with Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, BIRT, REST/SOAP APIs).

• Proven experience ensuring compliance with US GAAP and federal grant requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 7 years of experience with multi-tenant Workday Financials deployments in the public sector.

• 5 7 years of experience designing and implementing Accounting Center for cash-basis reporting and advanced allocations.

• Strong experience leading PeopleSoft to Workday ERP migrations.

• Experience with Prism Analytics, Adaptive Planning, and Workday Extend.

• Background in higher education, public sector, or not-for-profit environments.

Nice-to-Have

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with government agencies or state accounting offices.

• Ability to lead multiple workstreams in a complex enterprise environment.
