EDM Engineer (Markit/S&P EDM - Cadis)

REMOTE

We are seeking an experienced EDM Engineer with strong expertise in Markit / S&P Global EDM (formerly Cadis) to support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise data management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support S&P Global EDM (Cadis) workflows, rules, and data models
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, enrichment, and exception management
• Integrate EDM with upstream and downstream systems including market data, reference data, risk, and reporting platforms
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using EDM components, SQL, and scripting
• Configure data matching, mastering, survivorship, and lineage within EDM
• Support onboarding of new data sources and data consumers
• Monitor batch processes and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Work closely with business analysts, data governance, and operations teams to gather requirements and translate them into EDM solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and operational runbooks
• Support UAT, production releases, and change management activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience working with Markit / S&P Global EDM (Cadis)
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • EDM workflows, rules, and data models
  • Data quality, reference data, and market data management
• Advanced SQL skills (queries, joins, performance tuning)
• Experience with ETL concepts and data integration
• Experience supporting production environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
