Summary
Title: Technical Business Analyst
Duration: Long Term
Exp: 10+ Years
Location: Chicago IL , Hybrid (one day a week)
Value Technology Inc is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in application development and Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with cross-functional, distributed teams and will act as a thought leader who drives collaboration, challenges the status quo, and delivers measurable business value. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership capability, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
- 10 + years of IT experience, Solid experience with JIRA
- 5+ years of experience as a Business analyst in App Dev as part of a major industry (Fortune 500 preferred)
- Experience working as a Business Analyst at least 4 to 5 years and must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team in a collaborative way. Influence employees at all levels.
- Experience in creating training materials and sharing knowledge at different levels
- Experience working as an Business Analyst across multiple teams that are both local and remote (2-3 time zones difference)
- Familiarity with common Agile practices
- Proven ability in building effective partnership with diverse groups in multiple locations/environments
- Aptitude for learning and using technology for both teaching and action research
- Thought Leader - Must challenge status quo and grow every day. Must be able to build trust and earn respect at all levels within the company.
- Communicative and facilitative - Must be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization from Scrum team members to executives.
- Assertive - Ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls and manage conflicts
Education qualification:
Bachelor's Degree (Technical degree preferred)
Preferred:
· CSM/CSPO Certification or PMI-ACP
· Project Management background and a PMP is a plus.
