Job Description:
Marketing Project Manager (Agile)
6+ month contract with potential to extend or convert permanently
Orlando, FL -- onsite 4 days/week
Position Overview:
This Project Management team sits within performance marketing and sees work across the full project life cycle. About 80% of their work follows a campaign -based schedule while the remaining 20% is more project-based work which sits on the Marketing Tech side of the house. They want to shake up how the team goes about the work as they need to get a much better speed to market.
This Project Manager would come in and help the team move to more Agile practices and think differently in their processes. They need to work through it with an IT Agile perspective with sprints, etc. The process doesn't need to have all the Agile specifics but conceptually at least (block and segment schedule, for example). This person will first help to rebuild the PM process and then eventually help to actually manage projects.
Must Haves:
1. 3-5 years of IT Project Management experience
2. Good process improvement expertise (including familiarity with Agile practices)
3. Someone who can lead a room and push for change/new initiatives
