We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Systems Engineer / Administrator with deep expertise in Top Secret Security (TSS) and IBM z/OS environments. The candidate will act as a subject-matter expert responsible for maintaining mainframe security, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting enterprise-level system operations.

The role includes administering and supporting z/OS operating systems and core system components, planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, and providing hands-on technical support during implementations and testing cycles. The candidate will support and troubleshoot ISV products such as BlueZone, perform root cause analysis for system, platform, and software issues, and assist with performance monitoring and tuning using tools like RMF, SMF, and WLM.

Additional responsibilities include supporting Mainframe Production Control, managing batch job scheduling and monthly scheduler activities, and maintaining secure communications through TLS/SSL, certificates, SFTP, and FTPS. The role requires working knowledge of JES2, USS (OMVS), SMS, JCL, SMP/E, VTAM, TCP/IP, VSAM, GRS, TSO, and automated job scheduling tools such as JOBTRAC. Experience with REXX, Informatica PowerExchange, and performance analysis is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and proven experience supporting mission-critical mainframe environments.
