Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with up to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, automation, and building lightweight full-stack components to support platform operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud services, scripting/automation, backend API development (Java/.NET), and UI frameworks such as React. This role focuses on delivering scalable cloud solutions, integrating infrastructure platforms, and developing engineering utilities or dashboards that streamline operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement cloud infrastructure solutions and automation using industry best practices across Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and operational tools using Java or .NET, and build UI interfaces with React when required.
- Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code implementations using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
- Work closely with architects and platform engineering teams to integrate cloud services, monitoring, security, and DevOps pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, design discussions, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and application integration issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Support deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline configuration, and containerization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical implementation plans.
Qualifications:
Up to 8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, automation, or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one cloud provider (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Platform), including compute, networking, storage, identity, and platform services.
- Strong scripting or programming experience using .NET, with familiarity in building APIs or utility services.
- Experience using React (or similar frontend frameworks) for building operational dashboards or internal tools.
- Solid understanding of IaC (Terraform, ARM/Bicep), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or equivalent containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with log analytics, observability platforms, and monitoring tools.
- Experience building automation scripts, operational workflows, or infrastructure utilities.
- Knowledge of API security, cloud networking concepts, RBAC, and identity management.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across infrastructure, cloud, and application layers.
- Ability to work in collaborative environments, adapt to new technologies, and contribute to technical discussions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications in cloud or DevOps are a plus.
