Controls Engineer

TEKsystems is partnering with a client looking for a Controls Engineer in Herndon, VA. This role involves managing Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) projects, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in industrial controls within critical environments and strong knowledge of protocols such as MQTT and Modbus. Responsibilities include project coordination, troubleshooting control sequences, vendor management, and technical support throughout the data center lifecycle. Preferred qualifications include an advanced engineering degree, experience with HVAC controls or SCADA systems, and certifications such as PE or PMP.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr.
