About the Role

As a Senior Cognos Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting Infrastructure Engineering initiatives. You'll consult on and contribute to moderately complex projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with organizational standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities

• Participate in and consult on Infrastructure Engineering projects, including large-scale planning and execution.
• Review and analyze complex infrastructure challenges, identifying solutions through in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Resolve moderately complex technical issues and collaborate with stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
• Apply a solid understanding of infrastructure policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with client personnel and internal teams to ensure successful implementation and support.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
• Technical Skills:
  • Senior-level expertise in Cognos Administration, including installation on Windows environments.
  • Strong understanding of Apache.
  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Familiarity with GitHub for version control.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows systems and basic networking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing Cognos environments.
• Ability to work independently and in collaborative team settings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
