We're looking for a system administrator to help with development and operations of flight management software taking advantage of modern design principles like cloud services, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and positive user experience.
As a system administrator on our team, you'll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. You will keep positive change moving in the system while keeping an eye on compliance, service level commitments, and technical debt. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

You Have: - 2+ years of experience working in a systems administrator role in a secure federal environment
- Experience developing tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
- Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools, such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning tools
- Experience with configuration management tools
- Experience working with application development teams across the software development life cycle and creating solutions to complex problems in a collaborative team environment
- Experience hosting applications on commercial Cloud providers
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms and tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have: - Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues for both open-source and commercial tools in public Cloud environments

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
