Job Title: Desktop Support Technician On-Site | Batavia, OH
Position Overview: We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide full-time, on-site IT support for a large warehouse and distribution center. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage a wide range of IT equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of end-user support experience, a proactive attitude, and a desire to grow in an IT career.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily on-site IT support for warehouse operations, ensuring uninterrupted technology services.
- Image, configure, and manage PCs, laptops, desktops, and related hardware.
- Configure and support RF scanners, printers (desktop and label), and specialty hardware such as mobile PC carts.
- Manage asset inventory of IT equipment, including ordering and tracking peripherals, cables, and monitors.
- Administer badge systems, including adding, removing, and creating employee ID badges.
- Support scanner locker systems and logistics technology deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in a Windows environment.
- Provide remote IT support for additional warehouse locations in the region.
- Participate in lifecycle refresh projects, including configuration and deployment of new RF scan guns.
- Handle in-person support requests and service tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
- Act as the primary technical resource on-site, managing workload independently.
Required Skills:- Strong desktop troubleshooting and hardware support experience.
- Proficiency with Windows and enterprise-level environments.
- Experience with imaging, deployment, and asset management.
- Ability to support RF scanners, printers, and mobile devices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-directed, resourceful, and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with badge systems and logistics technology.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience Level:- Intermediate - suitable for candidates with 2+ years of hands-on desktop support experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
