Job Details

Join a leading financial services technology company as an Azure DevOps Engineer in a hybrid role supporting enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD operations. This organization provides cutting-edge payment processing and financial technology solutions to banks, credit unions, and fintech companies across North America. You'll be part of a 12-person DevOps team responsible for managing Azure cloud environments that process millions of transactions daily. This role combines infrastructure automation, pipeline engineering, and platform reliability work, supporting development teams across multiple business units. Based in Salt Lake City, UT, this position offers a hybrid schedule with three days onsite and the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is an exceptional opportunity to work on mission-critical financial infrastructure at scale. You'll have significant impact on systems that directly enable secure, reliable financial transactions for thousands of institutions and millions of end users. The DevOps team operates with a high degree of autonomy, empowering engineers to drive technical decisions and implement innovative solutions. You'll work with modern cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure DevOps while collaborating closely with security, development, and architecture teams. The organization has recently completed a major cloud transformation and is now focused on optimization, automation, and implementing advanced observability practices. This creates an ideal environment for someone who wants to build upon a solid foundation rather than constantly firefighting legacy issues. With competitive compensation in the $110,000 to $135,000 range plus annual bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and strong professional development support, this role offers both technical challenge and career growth. The team culture emphasizes knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and work-life balance, with minimal on-call burden distributed across the entire team.
