We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud Specialist with proven experience in the Travel and Hospitality industry. The candidate will be responsible for leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud to unify customer data, enable personalization, and drive guest loyalty initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform) along with hands-on expertise in managing complex customer data across multiple channels within the hospitality and travel ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and optimize Salesforce Data Cloud solutions for customer 360 in the Travel & Hospitality domain.
Integrate guest data from multiple sources (booking systems, loyalty platforms, CRM, POS, and third-party travel systems) into Data Cloud.
Configure and manage identity resolution, data models, calculated insights, and segmentations tailored to travel/hospitality use cases.
Build and activate audiences to support personalized marketing, guest engagement, and loyalty program initiatives.
Work closely with hospitality business stakeholders (reservations, loyalty, digital marketing, guest services) to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and industry best practices.
Collaborate with IT, marketing, and operations teams to drive adoption of Data Cloud.
Stay updated on Salesforce innovations, travel tech trends, and hospitality personalization strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 1 year hands-on with Salesforce Data Cloud/CDP.
Must have experience in the Travel & Hospitality industry (hotels, airlines, resorts, OTAs, or loyalty programs).
Deep understanding of hospitality data sources such as booking engines, PMS, CRS, loyalty management systems, guest profiles, and POS.
Proficiency in data integration tools and APIs (MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, or equivalent).
Strong background in data modeling, segmentation, and customer analytics.
Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud Accredited Professional, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Administrator).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
