Job Details

As a SENIOR CLOUD PLATFORM ENGINEER, focusing on AWS technology and reporting directly to the Senior Director of Platform Architecture, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure that powers our reliable, high-performing, and scalable platforms. As a member of our Platform Architecture team, your AWS expertise will play a vital role in helping optimize our cloud environments, improve performance, and enhance security. The team is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing the frameworks and infrastructure to align with application, platform, and system requirements. The team collaborates closely with software, site reliability, security and other engineering teams to ensure that the finalized infrastructure and application architecture align with security, scalability, reliability, and availability standards.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certification is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and managing AWS cloud services with expertise in EKS, Fargate, MQ, RDS, and Redshift.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and client-facing environments.
