We are seeking an experienced Expert GIS Database Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in managing, optimizing, and maintaining our geographic information system (GIS) databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security for the JGASS II contract.
Duties
Shall perform advanced level planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level GIS associated geospatial databases, network equipment, and software tools and applicants
Must have eight years of progressive GIS server experience.
Experience administering and deploying ESRI GIS and Mapping Tool Suite: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Earth.
Highly proficient in administering and deploying open source and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
Proficient in administering and deploying enterprise level open source and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) GIS server equipment in support of intelligence organizations.
Ability to write custom scripts for automation and analysis using Python, with knowledge of C# and Java.
Perform at a high/expert level in systems architecture design and evaluation.
Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
Expert Geospatial Information Systems Administrator is required to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.
Network+ and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). SQL Server 2016 certifications desired.
Should possess an expert working knowledge of the discovery, analysis and exploitation of geospatially oriented data and the management of that data within a variety of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant applications and databases.
High/expert ability to manage and work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial-oriented data.
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems architecture, and geospatial systems experience is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex database issues quickly.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to leverage their expertise in GIS database management within a collaborative environment focused on innovation and excellence.
W-2 Salary: $115,000
1099 Contractor: $68/hour
