Software Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET technologies.

Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Implement and enhance web application functionality using ASP.NET MVC Framework and .NET Core.

Collaborate with team members to design and optimize database solutions using SQL and Entity Framework.

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure smooth system operations.

Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve overall quality.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve software development processes.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Ensure the scalability and performance of applications through careful design and testing.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.

Proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET technologies.

Hands-on experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and building responsive web designs.

Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC Framework and .NET Core.

Experience working with SQL databases and Entity Framework.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
