Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Developer to join a dynamic Information Technology team in Houston, Texas. This technical role is suited for an experienced individual contributor who will provide essential support and development for Oracle SOA and BPM Suite applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with business users and technical teams to deliver robust solutions and ensure optimal service delivery. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with occasional travel requirements, offering exposure to enterprise-scale projects and cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support Oracle SOA and BPM Suite 12c applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system specifications, translating business and technical requirements into detailed documentation.
- Design, implement, and maintain SOA composites using BPEL orchestration and activities, as well as BPMN workflows involving human tasks.
- Develop and manage Oracle Service Bus (OSB) components, including proxies, business services, pipelines, and transformations, while securing proxies as needed.
- Build and maintain SOAP and REST-based web services, utilizing XML, JSON, XQuery, and XSLT for data transformation and integration.
- Administer Oracle Weblogic and Fusion Middleware environments, performing performance tuning and troubleshooting to ensure system stability.
- Oversee system administration tasks for Linux-based environments, including environment setup and ongoing maintenance.
- Support Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS) and related scheduling functions within the application landscape.
- Participate in change management processes, adhering to SOX control requirements and industry-accepted project management methodologies.
- Provide status updates and reporting to management, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from a four-year accredited university, or a minimum of 10 years of related industry or technical experience.
- Proven experience with SOA Suite JCA Adapters, including AQAdapter, FTPAdapter, FileAdapter, DBAdapter, and Oracle Applications Adapter.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on development experience using Java and JEE technologies.
- At least 3-5 years of experience with Spring and SpringBoot frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Service Bus (OSB) development, including proxy and business services.
- Strong background in XML, JSON, XML Schemas, XQuery, and XSLT for data manipulation and integration.
- Experience in system administration and environment management on Linux platforms.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, with 5-10 years of experience in SQL development.
- Exposure to Oracle Enterprise Scheduler (ESS) and middleware administration is required.
- Desired experience includes React development, Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban), Azure CI/CD pipelines, and familiarity with LDAP providers such as Active Directory or Oracle Internet Directory.
Pay Range: $120,000 - $125,000 annually
