Join a specialized engineering team dedicated to ensuring high-quality media experiences for billions of users. In this role, you will own the signals that drive media reliability by instrumenting profile-level telemetry and expanding hardware validation coverage for major codecs like H.264, HEVC, and AV1. You will work at the intersection of software telemetry and hardware driver certification to ensure healthy builds and seamless video performance.

responsibilities:
Enhance telemetry depth for video codecs to capture detailed profile and error data.
Develop and extend hardware validation test suites (HLK) for encoder behaviors.
Design schemas and build dashboards to identify regression patterns and performance trends.
Collaborate with hardware partners and internal media teams to close validation gaps.
Analyze telemetry failure signals to improve driver readiness and codec reliability.
qualifications:
Experience with 10-bit and advanced color format (4:2:2, 4:4:4) validation.
Prior experience with large-scale data visualization and dashboarding.
