Informatica MDM Data Architect

Remote - US

We are seeking an experienced Informatica MDM Data Architect with strong expertise in Informatica MDM to lead the redesign and migration of the Location Master data model. The role involves refactoring the existing data model while ensuring continuity and synchronization between legacy and new models. The architect will design a scalable, maintainable solution that supports current business needs without disrupting existing consumers.

Responsibilities:

Lead the refactoring of the Location Master data model within Informatica MDM, defining new tables and structures while maintaining linkages to legacy tables.
Develop a scoped data migration strategy to transition from the existing model to the new model with minimal disruption.
Design mechanisms to cascade updates from the UI to both old and new data models, ensuring data consistency across systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to data synchronization and impact on existing downstream consumers.
Define and enforce best practices for data modeling, including entity relationships, hierarchies, multi-valued attributes, and version control.
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical design and to validate the new data model against business needs.
Document data architecture, migration plans, data flows, and integration points comprehensively.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in data architecture and data modeling, with a focus on enterprise MDM solutions and migrations.
Strong expertise in Informatica MDM (10.x or later), including business entities, workflows, data model configuration, Provisional UI, IDD and rules frameworks.
Proven track record in designing and executing scoped migration strategies, ensuring synchronization between legacy and new data models.
Deep understanding of Location Master or similar domain data modeling requirements.
Strong skills in relational databases, SQL, data integration, and ETL processes.

Experience managing complex data synchronization and versioning challenges.
