Title: Sr Data Scientist
Location: Deerfield, FL (Hybrid 3/2)
Duration: 6+ months
Compensation: $45.00/hr

Sr Data Scientist
- Collaborate with functional leaders to understand business problems and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions
- Lead or contribute to all phases of data science projects, including problem definition, data sampling, extraction, processing, and deployment
- Perform exploratory data analysis and engineer features using advanced techniques (e.g., label encoding, target encoding, time-series, polynomial interactions, binning, outlier handling)
- Select features and optimize machine learning models through hyperparameter tuning
- Track experiments for A/B testing and reproducibility, evaluate model performance and interpretability, and communicate results
- Promote data science best practices and stay current with new developments in the field
Requirements - Proficiency in Python
- Experience working in Jupyter notebook format
- Ability to demonstrate regression and classification knowledge in Python
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, autonomy, creativity, and intellectual curiosity
Nice to have - Experience with Microsoft Azure
