Patent Attorney/Patent Agent -Chinese Patent law

Position: Junior Patent Attorney

Location: Remote (USA)

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Junior Patent Attorney or Patent Agent with international patent experience to join our team.
• Exposure to Chinese patent law is highly desirable.
• This role will primarily focus on patent clearance activities (Freedom to Operate) and the preparation of patentability, validity, and infringement opinions.
• A background in Chemistry or Materials Science is preferred, though candidates with Mechanical Engineering or Biotechnology experience will also be considered.
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and demonstrate flexibility in supporting global patent matters.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in international patent work; exposure to China patent law is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with patent clearance (FTO) and patent opinion drafting
• Technical background in Chemistry or Materials preferred; Mechanical or Biotech acceptable
• Ability to work across jurisdictions and collaborate with global stakeholders
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
