TEKsystems is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a 1-year contract to hire opening located in Seattle, WA. Position will be a hybrid schedule 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.

1. Experience in designing, deploying, and supporting SD-WAN/SASE solution.
2. Firewall - Provide administration and regular maintenance. Work with security team on policy enforcement and threat prevention features.
3. Network Access Control (NAC) - experience supporting EAP-TLS based user and device authentication with RADIUS.
4. Manage/Tuning Network monitoring and alerting in an enterprise environment.
5. Routing protocols - Improve network operation and resiliency with routing protocols such as BGP and OSFP. Redistribution between routing protocols.
6. Enhanced security by developing data center network traffic visibility solutions (e.g. application dependency mapping and/or micro segmentation.
Basic required Skills and Experience (day-to-day):
Switching - Improve network performance, redundancy, and security utilizing LACP, VLAN, STP, HA technologies.
Wireless - Track performance and troubleshoot connection issues (e.g. authentication failures, weak signal).
Azure Networking - Experience with private virtual networks (vNets), VPN, controlling traffic with services like Network Security Groups and Azure Firewall, DNS, and Load Balancer.
PKI - working experience with SSL certificates operation (e.g. enrollment, issue, and revocation) and private Certificate Authority.
Experience managing and supporting enterprise-wide multi-location networks.
Familiarity with network security best practice - Zero trust, network segmentation, PoLP.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
Advanced knowledge in the following areas is a big plus:
HPE/Aruba Network solutions - switching, wireless, ClearPass, and Aruba Central
Deployed dynamic routing protocol to optimize enterprise network performance, resilience, and operation.
Layer 2/VLAN scratching between data centers

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
