REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Drive the planning and execution of Data/BI governance initiatives, tasks, and deliverables.
· Drive timely completion of governance activities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
· Proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigating risks before they impact deliverables.
· Escalate blockers promptly to appropriate forums for resolution.
· Coach and mentor team members on data governance principles, practices, policies, standards, and deliverables.
· Drive metadata curation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality within the business glossary.
· Collect, develop, and implement Data Quality (DQ) rules
· Ensure semantic alignment of technical metadata (e.g., column names, data types, lineage, physical storage attributes) with enterprise data domains, preserving business meaning across all abstraction layers.
· Apply governance standards consistently to all work efforts.
· Communicate effectively to drive collaboration, promote governance adoption, and showcase program success
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance and data management implementations.
· Proven experience leading data governance, data management, data quality, and data stewardship collaboration.
· Solid communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong understanding of DAMA/DMBOK framework.
· Familiarity with data modeling
· Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance and Collibra Data Quality tools is huge plus.
· Prior experience in Delivering Data governance work in Agile set up is a huge plus.
