Location: Needs to be either local (Baltimore area) or someone in DC/NJ areas who can travel for first several weeks and once project is settled can work remote.

Overview
Client is seeking an experienced NetSuite Project Manager to take ownership of our in-progress NetSuite implementation and drive it to successful completion. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing ERP implementations, particularly NetSuite-with third-party bundles, and integrations. This role requires a structured, proactive leader who can bring clarity, governance, communication, and execution discipline to implementation with multiple moving parts.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Oversight
Serve as the primary leader for the NetSuite implementation across internal teams, NetSuite implementation partner, and 3rd-party vendors.
Establish and maintain a comprehensive program plan, schedule, RAID logs, and delivery milestones.
Assess the current state of the project, identify gaps, and create a remediation and recovery plan.
Ensure alignment across Finance, Commercial, Operations, IT, Supply Chain, and other business units.
Vendor & Third-Party Bundle Coordination
Manage relationships and deliverables with: NetSuite implementation partners
Third-party bundle/add-on providers
Ensure integration specifications, timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies are clearly defined and tracked.
Oversee issue resolution across multi-vendor touchpoints.
Technical & Functional Integration Management
Coordinate functional workstreams across: Lead to Quote
Order-to-Cash
Procure-to-Pay
Inventory/Operations
Finance/Accounting
Reporting/Analytics
Oversee configuration, customization, data migration, testing, and UAT cycles.
Ensure third-party bundles are properly scoped, configured, validated, and integrated.
Governance, Communication & Risk Management
Run steering committee updates, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
Identify risks, manage escalations, and enforce structured change control.
Ensure documentation is complete, current, and audit ready.
Go-Live Readiness & Post-Go-Live Support
Drive cutover planning, go-live readiness assessments, and contingency planning.
Oversee stabilization activities and transition to support/operations.
Ensure training, knowledge transfer, and adoption measures are in place.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Experience
7+ years of experience in ERP project management, with at least 3 end-to-end NetSuite implementations.
Strong experience managing projects with multiple 3rd-party bundles/add-ons, such as: WMS/Inventory add-ons
Tax engines (e.g., Avalara)
EDI/B2B integrations
AP/AR automation tools
Solid understanding of NetSuite modules, workflows, customizations, scripting, and integrations.
Project Management Strengths
Demonstrated ability to recover challenged or stalled projects.

Excellent stakeholder communication and expectation management.
Technical & Business Acumen
Understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, revenue recognition).
Understanding of operational processes (inventory, supply chain, production, procurement).
Ability to translate between business needs and technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, Administrator, Suite Foundation).
PMP, PRINCE2, or related project management certifications.
Experience in implementing NetSuite in distribution sector.
Experience with SPS Commerce, FreightPOP TMS and RF-Smart.
