Summary
Project Manager (DoD and Fabrication)
Location: Panama City, Florida - On-Site
Travel: Yes, 25% of the time
Clarence: Able to Obtain Secret
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance).
- Associate s degree in business or technical related field.
- 10 years experience in project management, with 5 years in a production environment including fabrication and shop planning.
- Experience with CBA workforce.
- Experience applying quality control and quality assurance procedures.to material and parts manufacturing.
- Good understanding and interpreting of shop drawings, sketches, schematics and design documents including geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards.
- Experience in evaluating performance requirements including providing data analysis for cost control, scheduling, performance, and quality.
- Experience with fabrication processes required for unique prototypes that have specialized and stringent requirements.
- Has experience supporting DOD contracts with time-sensitive critical requirements and is knowledgeable of management operations, quality management systems requirements, applicable client SOPs, DOD Regulations, and the Privacy Act.
- Experience/Familiarity with equipment shop such as:
- CNC, Laser, and Waterjet cutters
- Shearing machines and band saws
- Hydraulic and CNC Press Brakes
- Lathe, Milling, CNC, and Tapping Machines
- Welding (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Grinders, sandblaster, painting (booths)
- Experience with multiple metal types carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze
- Rigging (shore side and offshore)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience in job prioritization, resource and personnel allocation based on skill sets and customer needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work closely with employees, suppliers, engineers, technicians, and scientists.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
