Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong functional exposure to iMRO, Asset Management (EAM), and Component/Spare Parts Management. The ideal candidate will support, enhance, and customize SAP solutions for maintenance, repair, and operations processes in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.

• Support and customize SAP iMRO solutions to streamline maintenance and repair operations.

• Work closely with functional teams on Asset Management (EAM) and Component/Spare Parts Management processes.

• Develop ABAP objects including Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, RFCs, and IDOCs.

• Integrate SAP iMRO with SAP PM, MM, and EAM modules.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.

• Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, unit testing, and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile, remote setup.

• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Hands-on experience with SAP iMRO (Intelligent Maintenance, Repair & Operations).

• Solid understanding of Asset Management / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

• Experience with Component Management / Spare Parts Management.

• Knowledge of SAP modules such as PM (Plant Maintenance) and MM (Materials Management).

• Experience working in remote or distributed teams.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Exposure to OData, CDS Views, or SAP Fiori.

• Prior experience in manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, or asset-intensive industries.

• SAP certification in ABAP, EAM, or PM is a plus.
