Role Summary
Lead the enterprise cloud strategy, architecture, and roadmap across AWS and Azure. Provide strategic guidance, governance, and hands-on architectural leadership to ensure cloud platforms align with business goals, support modern engineering practices, and scale effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Strategize
-
Develop and maintain the enterprise cloud strategy, technology roadmap, and standards.

Define and drive cloud strategy across applications, compute, and storage in alignment with EA direction.

Assess the current cloud environment, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.

Review and approve cloud designs based on topology, performance, and interoperability needs.

Establish and track metrics that measure cloud architecture effectiveness and ROI.
Innovate
-
Analyze cloud industry and market trends to determine impacts on enterprise architecture.

Recommend emerging technologies or enhancements that advance organizational goals.

Partner with engineering teams to move concepts from ideation to incubation and prototyping.

Collaborate with AWS, Azure, and cloud ecosystem partners to explore new capabilities and solutions.
Architect
-
Define cloud architecture principles that guide enterprise, platform, and application decisions.

Design domain architectures that enable scalable platforms and application modernization.
-
Integrate Data, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and modern engineering patterns into the cloud ecosystem.

Own the cloud roadmap and lifecycle management.
Deliver
-
Lead the Cloud Architecture Committee (Tier 2 Governance).

Provide architectural consulting for application and infrastructure initiatives.

Oversee evaluation and selection of cloud technologies, standards, and reference configurations.

Advise delivery teams on complex architectural challenges beyond platform-level decisioning.
Required Skills & Experience

Deep knowledge of cloud technologies, multi-cloud architectures (AWS + Azure), and enterprise patterns.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement capability.

Proven ability to evaluate new technologies and quickly understand capabilities and limitations.

Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex cloud solutions at scale.

Ability to define cloud systems architecture, set direction, and provide recommendations for complex issues.
