Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
GNC Engineer to design, develop, implement, verify, and test algorithms, software, and simulation tools for advanced aerospace systems. This role involves working on high-fidelity
6 Degree of Freedom (6-DOF) simulations to design and test missile flight code, as well as performing mission analysis for flight test and tactical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and launch vehicles.
- Create and validate 6-DOF simulation models to evaluate system performance.
- Design and test missile autopilot, navigation, and guidance schemes.
- Perform mission analysis for flight test and tactical systems.
- Mentor and train early-career engineers on the team.
- Collaborate on control law development and hardware/software requirements.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and:
- 5+ years of related experience, or
- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or
- Ph.D. with 0 years of experience.
- Active U.S. DoD Top Secret clearance (current and within scope).
- Expertise in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) engineering.
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing flight control algorithms.
- Proficiency in high-fidelity 6-DOF modeling and simulation environments.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with missile GNC systems.
- Strong programming skills in C (Linux environment), MATLAB, and Python.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a STEM discipline.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.
