Neos is seeking HRIS/Oracle HCM Business Services Analysts for a 6-month project with our client in Austin, TX.

The Oracle HCM Business Services Analyst reports directly to the Director, Employee Resource Center. The Oracle HCM Business Services Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing systems and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS IT and preferably Oracle HCM Cloud applications, coupled with a deep understanding of business processes related to HR, payroll, benefits, compensation, and talent management. Will serve as a liaison between HR, IT, and other departments to ensure the Oracle HCM system effectively supports business needs, optimizes performance, and ensures compliance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer and maintain the Oracle HCM Cloud system, including configuration, functionality, user access, security, and integration with other systems (e.g., payroll, finance, and benefits). Ensure the system is fully optimized and functioning in line with clients needs.
Work closely with HR stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in HR business processes. Recommend, develop, and implement best practices for system configuration and automation within Oracle HCM to improve workflow, efficiency, and user experience.
Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics from the Oracle HCM system. Provide actionable insights to leadership on HR trends, workforce metrics, and compliance. Ensure data integrity and consistency across the system.
Manage and coordinate system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts. Work with Oracle support to troubleshoot issues, resolve system bugs, and implement improvements based on evolving business requirements.
Provide training to HR and business users on Oracle HCM functionalities, workflows, and best practices. Act as a primary point of contact for system-related questions, troubleshooting, and support.
Ensure that all HCM processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., FLSA, ACA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA). Manage security roles and permissions in Oracle HCM, ensuring only authorized users have access to sensitive information.
Work with cross-functional teams on various HRIS projects, including new module implementations, integrations with third-party systems, and system upgrades. Contribute to project planning, testing, and post-implementation support.
Maintain comprehensive documentation on system configuration, processes, workflows, and user guides. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to users.
Assist with drafting and developing Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) documents by translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Assist with developing test plans based on user requirements, supporting user acceptance testing as needed, and ensuring thorough documentation of test results for release management.
Support Safety Management Systems (SMS) process by following safety and security policies, considering safety in every action and reporting safety and security concerns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, including core modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, Learning, and/or Recruiting.
Previous experience in an HRIS, IT, or HR Business Analyst role preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Technical
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud configuration and functionality, including setup, workflows, and reporting tools.
Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Oracle Cloud reporting, and data analysis tools is highly preferred.
Familiarity with HRIS integrations, API connections, and data imports/exports.
Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) and release management process
Proficiency in MS Excel and other business analysis tools.
Business Acumen & Problem Solving:
Deep understanding of HR business processes and how they intersect with technology solutions.
Ability to analyze complex problems and provide innovative, actionable solutions.
Excellent troubleshooting and issue resolution skills.
Communication & Collaboration:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.
Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with HR, IT, and other functional teams.
Project Management:
Experience managing or participating in large-scale projects and system implementations, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
PMP or other project management certifications a plus.
Certifications:
Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) preferred but not required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. This position works with multiple project timelines and is responsible for managing employees performing work of a complex nature. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach vertically for overhead use as well as horizontally. Must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment. Incumbent must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs., perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day, and function in an environment with constant interruptions. Mobility Status: As a Mobile position, the incumbent is expected to work in the office as needed. There will be access to touchdown/collaboration spaces when on site. Must be in-office for socialization, strategic collaboration, supervision, oversight, and accountability as needed.
