Java Architect

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with strong expertise in Spring Boot and Java/J2EE technologies to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The candidate will work closely with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to define architecture, ensure best practices, and drive technical solutions from conception to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of Java-based enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks.

• Develop scalable microservices architecture and RESTful APIs for cloud-native applications.

• Provide technical guidance to development teams on coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.

• Review and approve high-level and low-level design documents.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud deployments.

• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development efficiency.

• Participate in code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce coding and architecture standards.

• Define integration strategies with external systems and internal services.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security.

• Experience designing microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architecture.

• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and enterprise application architecture.

• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.

• Exposure to reactive programming (Spring WebFlux, Project Reactor).

• Familiarity with security standards and OAuth2/JWT implementations.

• Knowledge of performance tuning and scalability optimization for high-traffic applications.
