Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP / ePPDS Consultant with strong automotive manufacturing domain expertise to support and enhance SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and embedded PPDS (ePPDS) implementations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in S/4HANA 1610+ ePPDS, discrete and repetitive manufacturing, and advanced planning integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing (Discrete & Repetitive) solutions with deep functional expertise.
Design, configure, and implement SAP embedded PPDS (ePPDS) in S/4HANA 1610 or higher.
Perform hands-on MRP planning, including integration between S/4HANA PP and ePPDS.
Configure and optimize production planning, scheduling, and capacity planning processes.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to integrate S/4HANA planning modules with PPDS (e.g., Mixed-Model Planning).
Support variant configuration scenarios in manufacturing environments.
Analyze production constraints and improve scheduling efficiency using PPDS heuristics and optimization.
Provide functional guidance, testing support, and documentation across project phases.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PP and embedded PPDS (ePPDS only APO PPDS not applicable).
Deep expertise in Discrete and Repetitive Manufacturing within S/4HANA.
Proven experience with MRP Planning and PP PPDS integrations.
Automotive, Spare Parts, or Mechanical Manufacturing industry experience (mandatory).
Hands-on experience with SAP Variant Configuration.
Experience integrating S/4HANA Manufacturing with ePPDS.
Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
Knowledge of SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS).
Experience with Mixed-Model Planning in S/4HANA.
Prior S/4HANA manufacturing transformation or rollout experience.
