Supplier Quality Engineer II

Summary:
Supplier quality engineers are responsible for collaborating with suppliers, engineering, and schedulers to ensure quality products are delivered to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in PPAP processes, writing, reviewing, and approving PPAPs
Reviewing supply constraints or quality concerns and issuing deviations if necessary
Participate in new supplier launches to ensure parts are made to spec and delivered on time from supplier
Keep and maintain project timelines for multiple part changes and launches
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
Team player and detail oriented.
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Ability to work on multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
2-4 years experience preferred.
