Description

Blend of performance DBA & application developer skillset - Experience in application development that helps with understanding how to tune application queries. - Experience in ORACLE 19c (such as Oracle optimizer, explain plans, SQL plans, hints, TKPROF, traces, structures). - Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) - Experience in SQL and optimizing queries - Experience in in developing PL/SQL and optimize PL/SQL code - Experience in optimizing database structures (indexes, Primary/Foreign keys, tables structures) - Some Java experience is preferred, but not required

Core Responsibility - Running batch jobs and looking at batch job optimization, SQL code that runs and gathers up a bunch of records, trying to streamline that with hints, explain plans, etc. Tools - SQLPLUS and PL/SQL. - Knowledge of procedure/packages/triggers. - Knowledge of SQL profiles and baselines. - Oracle Scripting in Unix a plus - SQLDeveloper - Experience in OEM - Using ASH and AWR reports (or even manually generating ASH and AWR reports) - Monitoring (or even monitoring with scripts)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
